Jenkins products are not mass produced, machine manufactured items. Ed turns each needle on his lathe. After Ed sands them they are passed on to Wanda who buffs and handwrites the size on each. The first coat of finish is applied then they hang to dry for at least 24 hours. They are again inspected for catches, buffed again, coated with a different type of finish and hung to dry. They receive one last buffing before being packaged.
